Create and download
Create your welcome message in the generator and download the MP3.
Open your number
Go to Number & DID, then Numbers.
Open the welcome message
Go to IVR / Welcome Message and click the Welcome Message tab.
Upload the file
Choose Music and upload your WAV or MP3.
Queues and IVR
For a call queue, pick Music there too. In IVR menus, you can upload your own audio file instead of typing.
Call and listen
Call the number and listen to the welcome message and the menu.

Which files does CallHippo accept?
For the welcome message, CallHippo takes a pre-recorded WAV or MP3 under 5 MB. For call queues, an .mp3 or .wav file up to 5 MB.
Can I upload a voicemail greeting too?
CallHippo documents file uploads for the welcome message, IVR and call queues. For voicemail, check the options in your CallHippo account.
What does the Text option do?
With Text, you type a message and CallHippo converts it into speech. The Music option is the one for your own file.
