AI voices for your business phone line

A voice that sounds great in headphones can turn thin on a phone call. Ours are chosen for the call. Hear six of them below, then try your own text for free.

Calm voices for trust

Banks, home care and funeral homes need a voice that slows the caller down. These three keep a steady pace and a warm tone.

How to choose a voice

01

Match your front desk

The voice should sound like the person callers meet when they walk in. A law office and a skate shop sound different, and callers notice when the voice does not fit.

02

Listen on a phone

Play the preview through a phone speaker, not only on headphones. Voices that sound rich on good speakers can lose clarity on a phone line.

03

Keep one voice everywhere

Use the same voice for the welcome, the menu, on hold and after hours. Callers know they are still with your company.

04

Calm for bad news, bright for offers

Closures, delays and emergencies need a calm voice. Seasonal offers and peak-day messages can carry more energy.

Same voice, other languages

Our voices are not limited to English. The same voice can read your Spanish menu option or a French version of your greeting, so a bilingual line still sounds like one company. Write each language in its own text block in the generator and set the language for that block.

Questions

Female or male voice: which works better?

Both work. Choose the voice that fits your business and your callers, and test your own text with two or three voices. Previewing is free.

Can I mix two voices in one greeting?

Yes. Split your script into blocks in the generator and give each block a voice: a warm one for the welcome, a crisp one for the options.

Are these real people?

No, they are AI voices. For a person in a recording booth, read AI voice vs voice actor and our page on real voice greetings.

Can I change the speaking pace?

Yes. You can set the pace in the generator and add pauses in your text. Slower is usually better for phone numbers and menu options.
