Change your EE voicemail greeting
On an EE mobile, you reach voicemail by pressing and holding 1; the greeting sits under option 2 of the main menu. EE home phone voicemail runs on 1571. Both ways are described below, following EE Help.
EE mobile
Call your voicemail
On your EE mobile, press and hold 1. From another phone, EE gives 07953 222 222 (or +44 7953 222 222 from abroad); you then need your voicemail PIN.
Open the greeting option
From the voicemail main menu, select option 2.
Record and save
Follow the voice prompts to record your greeting, listen back and save it.
Visual Voicemail and switching voicemail on
EE offers Visual Voicemail on iPhone and Samsung devices. According to EE Help, you text Visual Voicemail to 150 and EE texts back once it is set up. On an iPhone you then record the greeting in the Phone app; see our iPhone and Android guide.
If callers cannot leave you a voicemail at all, EE Help says to text VM ON to 150.

To record your own greeting (option 2 sets the standard greeting).
Record and press #
Record after the tone, press # to save, then confirm or re-record. Press * to go back to the greetings menu.
Using a finished greeting from our generator
EE’s steps describe recording during the call. Play your downloaded greeting from a laptop, hold the phone close to the speaker in a quiet room and record it that way. It sounds slightly softer than a direct upload, but the voice and the wording come across as professional.
