| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Format | WAV, u-Law |
| Sample rate | 8 kHz |
| Channels | Mono |
| Size | 5 MB or below |
Our audio converter turns the MP3 from the generator into WAV µ-law, 8 kHz, mono (µ-law and u-Law are the same codec). A one-minute file in that format is well under 1 MB.

Questions
Is there a maximum length?
BT’s help article gives a size limit of 5 MB, not a length. A u-Law WAV at 8 kHz uses about 8 KB per second, so length is rarely the problem.
What does a greeting cost?
€19 excl. VAT per greeting, no subscription. Previews are free.
