Set your TPG Mobile voicemail greeting
TPG Mobile voicemail starts with a standard greeting and your recorded name. A custom greeting is an optional step in the set-up call. For a business, it is worth the extra minute.
First set-up, as TPG describes it

Set a PIN
Choose a voicemail PIN of 4 to 10 digits. You need it to check voicemail from another phone.
Record your name
TPG uses it to personalise the standard greeting.
Choose your state or territory
This sets the time zone of your mailbox. Pick the state your business works in.
Hold the line
Follow the prompts to set a custom greeting. This step is optional, and it is the one that matters for a business.

On or off
In My Account under Settings, with the Voicemail switch. To turn voicemail off completely, also dial ##002# from your handset.

Notifications
SMS alerts are on by default; dial 1218 to switch them. On an iPhone, dial 1217 for visual voicemail.

Messages expire
New and saved messages expire after 7 days. Press 2 while listening to keep a message for another 7 days.

From another phone
Call 0414121121, or +61414121121 from overseas, then enter your mobile number and PIN.
Playing the file into the call
TPG’s page describes recording by phone. When the prompts ask for your custom greeting, play the downloaded MP3 from your computer into the call. Some sound quality is lost.

How do I change the greeting later?
TPG’s help page describes the custom greeting as part of the set-up call on 121. Call 121 again and follow the prompts; if you cannot find the option, TPG support can point you to it.
