AI Voicemail Greeting Generator
Make your AI voice sound the way you want
AI reads what you type — literally. The way you spell things controls how the voice pronounces them. A few simple writing rules turn a robotic-sounding greeting into a natural one. Up to 2,000 characters per project — about 2–3 minutes of speech.
Times & numbers
9:30 → nine thirty AM
May 12 → May twelfth
Group phone numbers with dashes so the voice paces them naturally:
555-123-4567 → five five five – one two three – four five six seven
Spell out currency: $50 → fifty dollars.
Email & web
hello@example.com → hello at example dot com
@ can also be read as „at", „ay" or similar
www.example.com → w w w dot example dot com
or double-u double-u double-u dot example dot com
Special characters like / & # % are best avoided or spelled out: & → and.
Names & abbreviations
Mispronounced words sound right when written phonetically:
Siobhán → Shi-vawn
Spell out abbreviations: HR → Human Resources, or acronyms with dots: CEO → C. E. O.
Often helps too: pick a different voice or rephrase the sentence.

Frequently asked questions
How long should a voicemail greeting be?
Aim for 15–25 seconds. Long enough to identify your business and explain what to do next, short enough that callers actually listen to the end.
What should a professional voicemail greeting include?
Four things: who you are, why you can't answer, what the caller should do (leave a message, try another channel, call back later), and when they can expect a callback.
Can I use the same greeting on multiple lines?
Yes. Once you download the file you can upload it to any number of extensions, queues or shared-line groups. Many businesses produce one main greeting and short variations for departments.
Will the audio sound good on a low-quality phone connection?
Yes. Every export is mastered for telephony — mono, narrow-band-friendly, normalized loudness — so it stays clear even on cellular and PSTN calls.
How do I update my greeting later?
Open the project in your account, edit the script or voice, preview, and re-download. Each new version counts as a separate download.
Do I need to credit the music?
No. All music in our library is licensed for unlimited commercial use on phone systems. You can also upload your own audio if you prefer.
